The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
“Certainly, the servant may utter a word thoughtlessly [not understanding its repercussions] and as a result of this, he will fall down, into the Hell-fire from a distance greater than the distance between the east and the west.”
