Prophet Moses: Who is most honourable?

Forgive and Forget Prophet Mūsa asked Allāh! : Which of your slaves are most honourable? Allāh said: The one who has the capability to forgive, then forgives. Silsilah as-Saheehah (no. 3350) The one  who forgives others is most honourable and best person

Four types of useless and non beneficial knowledge and prayer to avoid them

Dua( supplication) to seek protection from useless knowledge. Useless Knowledge  Zaid b. Alqam reported: I am not going to say anything but only that which Allah's Messenger ﷺ) used to say. He used to supplicate:"…  اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ “…I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit,…” [Sahih Muslim 2722] There seems to be an almost limitless amount of knowledge and information in our world. In this hadith, the Prophet (ﷺ) is directing our attention to the fact that among ths mass information, there is non-beneficial knowledge which we should avoid. Non-beneficial knowledge is of different types and degrees. 1. First category of non-beneficial knowledge is one that harms our eemaan and taqwa: This is like learning magic, reading the books of disbelief and religious innovation, and those causing doubts. It includes learning how to harm others, steal, embezzle, forge documents, and fornicate. There is also no benefit in news

Support and take sides for " Truth "

Accept truth: Rejection is arrogance and ignorance

Shaykh At-Twaijiri (رحمه الله) said: *Indeed among them, (who) when scholars inform him about his mistakes he detests it and prejudices against who informed him, then accuses him of ignorance and being bias etc out of what he thinks that he (the adviser) is humiliating him.  No doubt that this is from arrogance about which the Prophet peace be upon him said “arrogance is disregarding the truth and looking down upon people”* Taghleez Al-Malaam (1/47) TN- Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan Hafidhahullah said when in his explanation of Sharhu Sunnah that the man of truth he lowers himself when his mistake is shown to him with the daleel but the one with desire he detest that and feel big. Effective and Best prayer of forgiveness of sins and evil deeds

Best Dua(supplication) for forgiveness of sins Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “O my sins! O my sins!”  The Prophet said to him, قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَغْفِرَتُكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَرَحْمَتُكَ أَرْجَى عِنْدِي مِنْ عَمَلِي “Say: O Allaah, your forgiveness is vaster than my sins, and your mercy is more hopeful to me than my deeds. The man said it, then the Prophet said, “Repeat it.” The man repeated it, then the Prophet said, “Repeat it again.” The man repeated it, then the Prophet said, “Stand up, for Allaah has forgiven you.”  [Hakim #1994; Shu’ab al-Imān 6622-Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Suyuti]

Example of Worldly life: Salty water, thirst and destruction

Al-Imām ibn al-Jawzi [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “It was said: ‘The example of a person who seeks the worldly-life is like that of a person who drinks [salt] water from the ocean. The more he drinks, the thirstier he becomes, until he is killed by it!’”  Mukhtasar Minhāj al-Qāsideen | Page 193 | Al-Imām ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi [may Allāh have mercy on him]
