Excellence of Ramadan

Maximize our rewards in Ramadan

Ramadan (the 9 th month in the Islamic Hijri calendar) is here again and more than a billion Muslims are gearing up to observe the various ibadat (worship) of this month. Although fasting is the primary highlight of this month, other Ibadat too, such as salat (prayers), Quran recitation, acts of charity, proactively striving for good deeds, etc., go hand in hand with fasting and will be the focus of everyone’s efforts. As Muslims, the same Ibadat are at our disposal throughout the year. However, the many additional rewards associated with our worship during this month make the same Ibadat more potent. Even those with little faith and eeman in their hearts join the foray in an attempt to reinvigorate the Taqwa (piety) in their hearts, which is the primary objective of Ramadan 1 . During Ramadan, Allah will be opening the gates of His mercy. He has reassured us of the immeasurable rewards of fasting that we can earn only if we rightly espouse the spirit of the month. In Ram

Reward of Night of Qadr

Signs of Hypocrite

THE SIGNS OF MUNAFIQ Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said: The signs of a hypocrite are three: 1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie. 2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it. 3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. Rights of Slave.

ISLAM IS AGAINST SLAVERY,FREEING A SLAVE CARRIES TREMENDOUS REWARD AND ISLAM IS AGAINST ILL TREATMENT OF SLAVE Narrated Al-Ma'rur: At Ar-Rabadha, I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names." Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, 'O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of what he eats and dress him of what he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them.' " (Al-Bukhari)

Ungratefulness to Husband leads to Hell

Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful. It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favours and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, 'I have never received any good from you." (Al-Bukhari)

Reward on every step

Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:   When one performs Wudu' perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of performing Salat, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and one of his sins is eliminated until he enters the mosque, and when he enters the mosque, he is considered as performing Salat as long as it is the Salat which prevents him (from leaving the mosque); and the angels keep on supplicating Allah for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer. They say: 'O Allah! have mercy on him; O Allah! forgive his sins; O Allah! accept his repentance'. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Evil Intention leads to Punishment

Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:   "When two Muslims are engaged in a combat against each other with their sword's and one is killed, both are doomed to Hell". Companion asked, "O Messenger of Allah! As to the one who kills, it is understandable, but why the slain one?" Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "He was eager to kill his opponent". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
