Arrogance
"O man! What has made you careless about your Lord, the All-Generous, Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; in whatever from He willed, He put you together." (Qur'an: Translation of the meaning, 82:6-8)
"This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Qur'an) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you."

"But you led yourselves into temptations, you looked forward to our destruction; you doubted (in Faith) and you were deceived by false desires, till the Command of Allah came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allah."
