Prophet offered funeral prayer for woman who died during delivery

Hadith 

 

"حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَابَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، مَاتَتْ فِي بَطْنٍ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَامَ وَسَطَهَا‏.‏" 

  

Narrated Samura bin Jundub: 

The Prophet (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer for the dead body of a woman who died during delivery (i.e. childbirth) and he stood by the middle of her body.
