Good Morning message and status: Don't count favours and don't remind other about your favours

Al-Imām ibn Sireen, [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him], heard a man telling another man: 

“I did such and such favours for you. I did this, and I did that!”

Al-Imām ibn Sireen, [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him], replied to him [saying]:

‘Be quiet! There is no good in being kind to others if you keep recounting it.’”
