‘Ā`ishah رضي الله عنها reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allāh! If I know which night is Laylat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?”
He ﷺ replied:
“You should supplicate:
اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني
'Allaahumma Innaka 'Afuwwun Tuḥibbul 'Afwa Fa'fu 'Annee’
(O Allāh, indeed You are the One who pardons and You love to pardon; so pardon me).”

⚠ *IMPORTANT NOTE* ⚠
Word Kareem is not their in authentic dua of laylat-ul-Qadr
Sh. al-Albānī Raḥimahullāh explained in Silsilatul Aḥādeeth aṣ-Saḥīḥah no. 3337:
“.. And I warn people that it occurs in Sunan at-Timridhee that there is addition of the word ❌Kareem❌ after 'Affuw’ when this Du'ā is mentioned, it has *NO BASIS* when one looks at the aforementioned sources, also an-Nisā`ee transmitted this Du'ā through the same Sanad as at-Tirmidhee without mentioning the word ❌Kareem❌, so what is apparent is that this word was mistakenly added by those who came later and made copies of at-Tirmidhee’s Sunan and by the publishers who printed it, Allāhu A'lam.”
