Islamic Status on consuming and taking interest

 Al-Imām Mālik [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:

“Certainly, I have looked in to and read the Book of Allāh and the traditions and practices of the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ and I did not see anything more evil than usury, this is because Allāh has declared war on those who consume it!”
