Superior way of seeking forgiveness of Allah
Hadith
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَيِّدُ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُولَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ". قَالَ " وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ، فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ، فَهْوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ "."
Narrated Shaddad bin Aus:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Anta Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana'tu, Abu 'u Laka bini'matika 'alaiya, wa Abu 'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta."
The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."

This is superior way of seeking forgiveness of Allah
It is leader of Istighfar(Sayyidul Istighfar)
If true and sincere repentance is sought through this beautiful and effective Dua
Whoever read this Dua will achieve supreme and greatest reward: Pleasure of Allah (Paradise ,protection from Hell and grave and Allah's punishment)
A believer who reads this Dua sincerely,repents and seek forgiveness of Allah from all sins( adultery, fornication, stealing, back biting, oral sex, and slandering, theft, robbery, disobedience to parents, witch craft, sorcery, magic, not performing Salah, not keeping fast, not giving zakah, transgression, oppression, cheating, beating, ...) then Allah will forgive him because Allah is Merciful.
If sins is related to rights of people, then besides sincere repentance, he should fulfil rights of people and return property and money to his owner or concerned person.
If he has encroached someone's land , house and flat of any person, then he should return to him.
This Dua, supplication and invocation has vast and deeper meaning and beautiful explanation.
This Dua should be read frequently.
These are golden words of seeking forgiveness.
It is best Istighfar
It is best way of seeking forgiveness of Lord
Hence, it should be read frequently and sincerely.
Person should not lose hope, because Allah is most Merciful and most Forgiving.
