1. Have you stopped using plastic completely? Have you stopped throwing plastic out of railway windows? It is this plastic which blocks the storm water drains. This clogging even blocks the drains on railway lines and at railway station.
2. Have you put concrete all over your society premises? In that case, how will the water sink in the ground? Then this water which has no access to seeping in the ground will accumulate in the premise.

4. Are you segregating wet and dry waste? If all wet waste is used for making compost and if all dry waste is recycled, mumbai will be free of garbage which cloggs our drainage lines.
5. Do you carry a cloth bag every time you step out for shopping or you demand a plastic bag from the shop keeper? These polythene carry bags do not disintegrate and clog drainage.
6. Do you carry your stainless steel water water every time you step out of your home. Or you just buy a plastic mineral water and throw the bottle garbage without sending it for recycling?
7. Right from your kids broken plastic toys to your non working plastic ball pens, do you send this plastic for recycling or just throw in the the garbage?
