*The Consequences of Leaving the Scholars*

From Muhammad bin Sireen -rahimahullaah- who said:
'Indeed there were a people who left seeking knowledge and the gatherings of the scholars. They took to praying and fasting a lot, so much so that their skins had become dried on to their bones.

Then they opposed the Sunnah and they were destroyed. They spilt the blood of the Muslims.

I swear by Allaah whom there is none other worthy of worship, no one did an action based upon ignorance except that he caused more evil than rectification.'

Repentance of one who committed Oral Sex

Praise be to Allaah. There is no doubt that what you have done is a kind of zinaa (unlawful sexual activity), although it is not the worst kind, so you must repent sincerely to Allaah, give up this sin, regret what has happened and be determined never to go back to it. Avoid bad friends and bad places, lower your gaze and keep your distance from women to whom you are not related (non-mahram). If you repent to Allaah, He will accept your repentance.
