A false, baseless and Accursed claim and proof of Disbelievers

Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Badrmentioned this morning in Fat’h al-Majeed class, in the Haram in Madinah, that the accursed proof الحجة الملعونة which the Disbelievers use:

We found our forefathers following such and such religion so we will follow it, is what hinders many from embracing Islam although they are convinced that it is the truth. But they use this as a proof deeming it to be a strong irrefutable evidence so they will resort to it without needing any evidence besides that. As with the story of the death of Aboo Taalib.
