Tawheed leads to pleasure of Allah and protection from Hell fire

Advantages and importance of Tawheed Imaam Ibn Rajab (Rahimahullaah) said: *”Strive today to actualise Tawheed; for indeed (you) cannot reach Allaah’s (pleasure) except by way of it. Be eager to establish the rights of Tawheed, because you cannot be saved from Allaah’s punishment except through it.”* [Kalimah Al-Ikhlaas: page 54]

We should keep our wife happy

Praise be to Allah.   The husband has to treat his wife in a good and kind manner, and to spend on her food, drink, clothing and accommodation, because Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “and live with them honourably” [al-Nisa 4:19]  “And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise” [al-Baqarah 2:228]  Ahmad (20025) and Abu Dawood (2142) narrated that Mu’awiyah ibn Haydah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what are the rights of the wife of any one of us over him?” He said: “That you should feed her when you feed yourself, clothe her when you clothe yourself, you should not hit her on the face, you should not curse her and you should not forsake her except in the house.” Al-Albani said concerning this hadeeth in Sa

Four factors for rectification of self, house and society

*What are the 4 factors or characteristics that will bring ourselves, our families, our society rectification?* Example 1: *A person is upon no correct Aqeedah, but he has point number 2, 3 and 4. However, there is no goodness in him. Either he is a disbeliever even though he has excelled in other points. Even if people perceive him to be good, but there is no goodness in that person.* Example 2: *A person has sound Aqeedah, but he has issues in his Ibadaat. This is also a great deficiency. Shaytan comes from different angles or levels to deceive a person. First, the shaytan would push you away from doing Rawatib Prayers and then he would push away from doing sunnan prayers and then finally Fard. Hence there is no goodness in this person irrespective of having correct Aqeedah because correct Aqeedah necessitates action which is Ibadaah.* Example 3: *A person has sound Aqeedah and he established Ibadaah, however, he has issues in Mamlat (Dealing or interacting with people). The perso

Benefits of Tawheed and Istaghfar

The Excellence of Tawheed & Istighfar Compiled & Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah - rahimullah- said: ‘Seeking forgiveness from Allaah is from the greatest of good deeds, it encompasses many matters, so whoever senses deficiency in his speech, or his actions, or his situation, or his provision, or his heart turning to and fro, them it is upon him to adhere to Tawheed and seeking forgiveness from Allaah, since in these two matters there is the cure, if both those matters are done with Ikhlaas (sincerity).’ [From 'Majmoo al-Fatawa 11/698] Seeking forgiveness For the Believers Allaah Ta’ala said: وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ <<And those who came after them say: Our Lord! Truth is based on proof

How to prevent flooding, water logging, pollution

1. Have you stopped using plastic completely? Have you stopped throwing plastic out of railway windows? It is this plastic which blocks the storm water drains. This clogging even blocks the drains on railway lines and at railway station. 2. Have you put concrete all over your society premises? In that case, how will the water sink in the ground? Then this water which has no access to seeping in the ground will accumulate in the premise. 3. Are you doing rainwater harvesting in your society? If every housing does rain water harvesting, all the rain water will be utilized and there will be no water logging. 4. Are you segregating wet and dry waste? If all wet waste is used for making compost and if all dry waste is recycled, mumbai will be free of garbage which cloggs our drainage lines. 5. Do you carry a cloth bag every time you step out for shopping or you demand a plastic bag from the shop keeper? These polythene carry bags do not disintegrate and clog drainage. 6. Do you carr

Who is your true friend?

Imaam Bin Baaz (rahimahullah) Said: *So your brother is the who advises you, remind you, and alert you. Your brother is not the one who gives you no thought, avoids you, or speaks to you with pretty words that lack real truths and sincerity. Rather, your brother, in reality, it is the one who advises you, the one who admonishes you, and reminds you. He calls you to Allah, keeps explaining to you the path of deliverence clearly until you follow it, and warns you about the path to destruction- he keeps explaining how evil it end is until you avoid it.* [Majmu Fatwa wa Maqalat Matinee, vol 14,p.21]

Reason and causes of bad end and bad death

Ibn al-Qayyim: (May Allāh have mercy on him) *Fear of A Bad Ending* “Sufyān al-Thawrī, may Allāh have mercy on him, once cried a whole night until the morning, so in the morning he was asked if his cry was due to the fear of sins. He picked hay from the ground and said: ‘Sins are lighter than this hay, I only cried out of fear of the bad ending.’ Ibn al-Qayyim said: And this is the peak of Fiqh (knowledge and understanding) that a man fears that his sins let him down at the time of death and that they come between him and the good ending.” al-Dāaʾ wa al-Dawāʾ (390)

Allah knows best...only Allah has knowledge

The Importance of saying Allah knows best (or Allah knows better) Masruq (May Allah be pleased with him) said: We visited 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) and he said to us: O people! He who has the knowledge of any matter may convey it to the others. And he who has no knowledge, thereof, should say: اللهُ أَعْلَم "Allahu A'lam (Allah knows better)." It is a part and parcel of knowledge that a man who has no knowledge of a matter should say: "Allah knows better." Allah said to His Prophet (ﷺ): "Say (O Muhammad (ﷺ)): 'No wage do I ask of you for this (the Qur'an), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist)."' Dua for dead parents

Islamic Prayer for Dead Parents DUA for DECEASED PARENTS When a parent passes away remember that you have begun a new phase of birr (dutifulness) to that parent. Birr after death is the truest and most sincere forms of birr because birr during their lifetime could be tainted with show-off, being polite (as opposed to sincere) and expecting praise from the parents or others. As for after their death, then only Allah hears and sees you. A deceased parent is in greater need of his/her children - even more than when they the parent was alive. What children do for the parents during the parent's lifetime is for the worldly needs. But after death only Allah knows what good and bad is in store for the deceased in the grave   Du'a - i.e., supplication to Allah - for rahmah (mercy), asking Allah to shower the deceased with His mercy is invaluable for the deceased. Through the child's Du'a, Allah - with His grace and mercy - enlightens the grave removing the darkness and expandi

How to achieve and gain love of Allah?

Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: "The reason which cause the mahabbah (love of Allah) to develop are ten: Firstly: Reciting the Qur`aan, reflecting upon it and understanding its meanings. Secondly: Drawing closer to Allah  through the performance of optional deeds, after fulfilling the obligatory deeds. Thirdly: Being continuous in the dhikr (remembrance) of Allah - in all circumstances - with the tongue, the heart and the limbs. The more constant the dhikr, the more mahabbah intensifies. Fourthly: Giving precedence to what Allah  loves - when being overcome with desires - over what one personally loves and desires. Fifthly: Causing the heart to contemplate over the Names and Attributes of Allah . Being a witness to what they necessitate and causing the heart to be enlightened in the garden of this realisation. Sixthly: Witnessing the blessing and the favours of Allah ; the apparent and the hidden. Seventhly: Subduing the heart and humbling it before Allah , causing it to be i

The benefits and advantage of Hardship, problems, stress, calamity and grief

*HARDSHIPS BENEFIT THE BELIEVER* Allah عزوجل has decreed that, in this life, hardships and disasters strike both believers and non-believers. For a non-believer, they are inconveniences that hinder him from proceeding with his normal involvment in the wordly life. For a believer, on the other hand, they are instances of rest and rememberance, tests that promise great rewards, and indications of atonment and expiation of sins. Regardless of how little is the harm that strikes a believer, it carries with it good news of forgivness and elevated rank ( in Jannah ). The Righteous Predecessors used to be pleased when a hardship afflicted them, seeing it as a token of Allah's forgivness and benevolence. *EXPIATION OF SINS* The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: " Hardships continue to befall a believing man and woman in their body, family, and property, until they meet Allah سبحانه وتعالى burdened with no sins. Best Spending ...Best Charity...Best Donation

Do and Don't for student of knowledge

Seeking Knowledge – What you Should Know Important advice for those who may undertake the role of the student of knowledge – those who want to leave behind their homeland, perhaps family, jobs, homes, college studies, or important positions in their communities.  [1] In the Name of Allaah, the Most-Merciful, may His Salaah and Salaam be upon His final Messenger Muhammad, to proceed: Verily from the most rewarding ventures a person can undertake is to pursue knowledge of Allaah’s Deen. The ones who are favored with understanding of the Religion, not only does Allaah want good for them, as the Prophet of Allaah ( sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam ) said: “If Allaah wants good for someone, He gives him understanding in the Religion.”  [2] But he inherits directly from the noble prophets of Allaah, as the Prophet ( sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam ) said: “Verily the prophets do not leave behind  deenaars  or  dirhams   (money) , rather they leave behind knowledge, so whoever gets hold o

Forgiveness of all sins and wrongdoing

Good deeds  will be increased to seven hundred times ‪Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri [رضي الله عنه]: Allaah’s Messenger said:‬ *‪❝If a person embraces Islaam sincerely, then Allaah shall forgive all his past sins, and after that starts the settlement of accounts, the reward of his good deeds will be ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and an evil deed will be recorded as it is unless Allaah forgives it.❞‬* ‪[Sahīh Bukhari, (1/41) | Translated By Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan]‬

Why saudi Arabia scholars follow kings order?

Why Saudi Arabia scholars do not object and oppose to king? Why Saudi Arabia scholars are following King's order? Shaikh Sālih al-Fawzān was asked: “Respected Shaikh, yourself and your brothers who are scholars in this country are Salafīs – and all praise is due to Allāh – and your method in advising the rulers is that of the Sharīʿah and as the Prophet  has explained, yet there are those who find fault with you due to your neglect in openly rejecting the various oppositions [to the Sharīʿah] that have occurred. And yet others make excuses for you by saying that you are under the control and pressure of the state.  So do you have any words of direction or clarification to these people?” So Shaikh al-Fawzān answered with clear and unambiguous words: “There is no doubt that the rulers, just like people besides them, are not infallible. Advising them is an obligation. However, attacking them in the gatherings and upon the pulpits is considered to be the forbidden form of backbiti

How to take decisions and Judgement?

How to get rid of Jealousy,  enmity,  hatred, greed... WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED?* It has been reported from Shaqeeq al-Balkhee رحمه الله that he asked Haatim (al-Asam): You accompanied me for some time (now), so what have you learned? Haatim said: (I have learned) Eight things: 1. As for the first: I looked at the creation (the humans), and everyone has something which is beloved to him, but when he reaches the grave, his beloved abandons him. So I made my good deeds as my beloved so that it accompanies me in the grave. 2. As for the second: I looked at the saying of Allaah تعالى: ﴿وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ﴾ {and he restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts… } [Surah al-Naazi`aat (79): 40] So I strove against myself in pushing away the desires till I was able to steady myself upon the obedience of Allaah تعالى. 3. As for the third: I saw that everyone had something which was precious to him and he safeguarded it. Then I looked at the saying of Allaah تعالى: ﴿

Who is the best person?

Al-Haafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said:  Ibn Abi Dunya narrated with his isnaad that ‘Ali said: “The best of you is every tempted one who repents (i.e., every time he is tempted by this world, he repents).” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask Allaah for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask Allaah for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask Allaah for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “For how long?” He said, *“Until the Shaytaan is defeated.”* Ibn Maajah narrated a marfoo’ report from Ibn Mas’ood which says: *“The one who repents from sin is like the one who did not commit sin.”* (Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah, 3427).  How shaytaan (satan)  is defeated, benefits of repentance, one who repents is the best person

Solution and remedy: If sin or evil deed is repeated and done hundred and thousand time...

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “A person committed a sin and said: ‘My Lord, I have sinned; forgive me.’ His Lord said: ‘Is My slave acknowledging that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for them? Islamic ruling:Always telling lies and habitual liar

Habitually telling lies when speaking is one of the characteristics of the hypocrites, as the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There are four characteristics, whoever has them all is a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of them has one of the characteristics of hypocrisy, until he gives it up: 1. when he is entrusted with something, 2. he betrays that trust, when he speaks he lies, 3. when he makes a covenant he betrays it, 4. and when he disputes he resorts to obscene speech.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (34) and Muslim (58).

Harmful effect of issuing Fatwa without knowledge

*Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:* *One of the gravest of crimes is issuing fatwas without knowledge; how many have gone astray and been doomed as a result of that, especially if the fatwa was utter in front of many people and came from one by whom some people were deceived.* The dangers posed by that are great, and the consequences are severe. The one who issues fatwas without knowledge will bear a burden of sin like that of those who follow him. _End quote from Majmoo‘ Fataawa Ibn Baaz (3/219)._
